Dr. Barkan Baybogan

​

Barkan Baybogan is a seasoned entrepreneur with a specialized background in the financial services sector. He is an accredited angel investor and private equity professional in Turkey with international capital markets experience. He has been together with a listed private equity group since 2009 and has been the country manager and solution partner of a European M&A network Corporate Finance in Europe since 2008.

​

He is also  EMEA director & partner of a global technology company specializing in VDR services. Barkan holds PhD degree in Economics.

Mark Anthony Goodwin

Mark Goodwin is a marine engineer, seasoned investor and entrepreneur, having worked in the manufacturing and energy sectors for years prior to setting up his own investment firm. With over a decade of experience working in maritime, oil & gas, and real estate.

​

He is based in Glasgow, Scotland as well as facilitates consultancy & investment banking activities in the UK. Mark has been pursuing investment opportunities with his investment vehicles based in the UK and the US. He has an active role in BYCap Corp on the board level and as a partner.    

 

 

 

Gregory Schaefer

Gregory is an experienced corporate finance & real estate professional with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) focused on Marketing from City University of New York. He worked in institutional sales departments of Salomon Brothers between 1995-1997 & Lehman Brothers between 1998-2003. Gregory supports BYCap Corp in business development activities regarding corporate finance assignments and capital market transactions such as private placements, stock loans, and PIPEs.

Prof. Dr. Mehmet Fuat Beyazit

Mehmet Fuat Beyazit holds BSc, MSc, and Ph.D. degrees from Istanbul Technical University. He has worked as a Financial Controller and a Financial Manager in various companies including multinationals such as Coopers & Lybrand and Sony, between the years 1985-2001. He is currently the Director of the School of Applied Sciences of Bilgi University, Istanbul, Turkey, and teaches various courses in the Banking and Finance degree program.  His main areas of interest are “Financial Derivative Pricing”, “Computational Methods in Finance” and “Risk Management”. He currently holds the position of member of our Advisory Board.
